If you are moving to a different country, it can prove an expensive business. One of the biggest expenses is the removals but you have to look at it another way.
If you sell all your personal belongings before you go rather than take them with you, you are not likely to realise a very good price for them; then when you arrive you have to buy new furniture to kit out your new house. If you balance up this cost against removals, then removals will start to seem a pretty worthwhile expense.
It is the same with the car – do you consider Moving car abroad or not? It really depends on the value of your current car and also the destination. If you have a cheap car that is falling apart you are better off to buy a new one there.
If you have a good car but it is not suitable for the climate then again, buy one there. There is no point in having a convertible if it will be up against monsoon rains once a year!
However, if you own a good car and you are comfortable driving it, then get a quote from a reputable removal company, especially if they drive on the same side of the road in your new country of residence, as it could be cheaper than buying a new one over there.
